Low emission zone
The entire Antwerp city center and a part of Linkeroever are low emission zones. This means that you are no longer allowed to enter this zone with a polluting car. Lotto Arena itself lies just outside the low emission zone, but many of our car parks lie within it. The same applies to large parts of the Singel, the Noorderlaan from Kinepolis onwards, and a large part of the Blancefloerlaan on Linkeroever. Therefore, chances of ending up in the low emission zone on the way to Lotto Arena are very high.
Take the precaution of checking in advance whether your vehicle is allowed to enter Antwerp.
Or better yet: park your car at a Park & Ride (P+R) and use public transport for the remainder of your journey.
New parking tariff zones Around AFAS Dome and Lotto Arena
Starting October 1, 2025, the City of Antwerp will introduce new parking tariff zones in the area surrounding AFAS Dome and Lotto Arena. The goal is to reduce parking pressure during events and to promote smart mobility solutions.
⚠️ These new tariffs apply only to visitors. Residents living in the newly designated event zones will still be able to park for free and without time restrictions, provided they hold a valid parking permit.
Two new zones will be introduced:
Pink event zone
This zone includes the streets directly surrounding AFAS Dome and Lotto Arena, such as Beukenhofstraat and Carrettestraat.
Rate: The first 2 hours are free, but only if the parking session is properly registered. After that, the rate is 0.80 euros per hour.
Dark green event zone
This zone covers the Dam neighborhood.
Rate: 1.20 euros for the first hour, followed by 1.60 euros for each additional hour.
General rules
The parking regulations are in effect every day from 9 a.m. to midnight, including public holidays.
Registration is mandatory and must be completed via mobile app, SMS, or a parking meter.
A maximum parking duration of 2 hours applies:
On weekdays between 6 PM and midnight.
On weekends and public holidays from 9 AM to midnight.
After a parking session, there is a mandatory waiting period of 1 hour before starting a new session in the same zone.
On weekdays before 6 p.m., there is no time limit for parking.
⚠️ Tip! Avoid parking on the street and use the nearby Park & Ride facilities or public transportation. These options are free of charge for visitors attending events at AFAS Dome and Lotto Arena.
